Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 sweet Hawaiian rolls
  • 12 slices of ham
  • 12 slices of Swiss cheese
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally to create a top and bottom for each slider.
  3. Layer the ham over the bottom half of the rolls, then top with Swiss cheese.
  4. Melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat until smooth.
  5. Stir in the Dijon mustard, poppy seeds, onion powder, and garlic powder until combined.
  6. Brush the buttery mixture generously over the cheese and ham.
  7. Place the top half of the rolls on and brush with more butter mixture.
  8. Wrap the sliders tightly in aluminum foil.
  9. Bake for 15-20 minutes until cheese is melted and tops are golden brown.
  10. Serve warm.

Notes

Make-ahead by assembling the sliders and refrigerating overnight. Also, use a serrated knife to cut the rolls easily.
